From Surface-Dwelling Life to the Rich Fertile Ocean of Your Soul

Shaman Woman is a 3-year apprenticeship utilizing core shamanic methods and rooted in the White Bone tradition of the Ancient Celts. These bold, Earth-loving, nomadic tribes were made up of  adventurous, spirited people who travelled from the steps of Russia to the west coast of Ireland. They lived in relationship with the land, the spirits of the land, and the wheel of the year.

The White Bone is a reanimated path of shamanism which has been entrusted to Angela through her ancestral lineages from Ireland and Scotland, and connections with the female personages of the land including An Cailleach and the Sidhe. Given the oral nature of Celtic culture and the loss of the Sacred Feminine, the tradition disappeared from our ordinary realms generations ago. It is now re-emerging in this time of global spiritual crisis to bring women into their intuitive power as harmonizing agents and spiritual change-makers, and as an answer to the loss of the Divine Feminine. The White Bone path teaches apprentices how to resurrect the woman's innate shamanic way, breath new life into the female warrior soul, heal the relationship to the wild woman intuitive voice, and reconnect the ancestral Motherlines. By following this path we keep alive the flow of the Great Mother's milk to quench and nurture humanity, heal the Earth, and provide a future of peace for our descendants.

Shaman Woman is a deeply self-reflective program therefore, having the capacity to self-examine and take personal responsibility is imperative. A desire to live a more authentic life, heal, and develop solid spiritual integrity and sovereignty is required.

Each year is sequential and optional.

COURSE STRUCTURE
YEAR 1: THE MOON CARRIER
Year 1 provides a strong foundation in: journey skills, Celtic cosmology, sacred tools, and initiation through Vision Quest.
Group Instruction time includes: One Sunday per month over the  year and six Sunday evening circles. The days will include: journeying, ritual and ceremony, and creation of sacred tools and regalia such as drums, rattles, and masks. We also explore archetypes, medicine stories, and the ancestors. The evening circles provide a venue to stay connected with your process while deepening relationships with like-minded and like-hearted women.

A 3-day vision quest retreat is scheduled on Gambier Island. As a way of synthesizing and integrating your journey, a vision quests is the perfect rite of passage for you to emerge more authentic and ready to move forward to the next stage of your life.


COURSE STRUCTURE
YEAR 2: THE HEARTHKEEPER
Year 2 calls for a strong commitment to healing through initiatory theory and creative processes related to: archetypes, soul retrieval, extraction, dearmouring, recapitulation, divination, ancestral healing, transfiguration and Fire Walking. We work deeply with the Celtic Spirit Wheel, Three Cauldrons and the flow of Imbas, as well as deepen relationships with Celtic deities specific to the work.
Group Instruction time includes: One Sunday per month, nine Friday evenings, and six Sunday evening circles. 
Graduation ceremony includes an initiatory Fire Walk.


COURSE STRUCTURE
YEAR 3: THE VISION WALKER
Year 3 beckons us to service through deeper experiential learning of: curse unravelling, ancestral healing, psychopomp, and shapeshifting, as well deepening the processes learned in previous years. This year prepares students to stand as empowered harmonizing agents in the world. Each student's unique shamanic expression is explored through service to pave the way for the future. These expressions may include roles that bring healing, art, theatre, or education to individuals, families, children, businesses or the Earth.

Upon completion students are eligible to apply for Initiation as a White Bone Carrier, with the *White Bone Shamanic Sisterhood. *The White Bone Shamanic Sisterhood is an alliance of women shamanists committed to spiritual sovereignty and the healing and resurgence of the Divine Feminine to aid in the restoration of harmony to Earth, individuals, kin, clan, and community.
